A number of the region's best loved performers will be heading to Pilbeam Theatre next month, as it prepares to host Broadway and Beyond.
The musical extravaganza will feature artists such as Grant Pegg, Katrina Christensen and Justin Stewart, who will perform some of the world's favourite show tunes.
Residents of real estate in Rockhampton may recognise many of the artists, as they have previously performed in productions at the Pilbeam Theatre, but this will be the first time they have all come together.
Accompanied by a live orchestra, the evening will include hits from shows including Jesus Christ Superstar, The Boy from Oz, Spamalot, Chess and Les Miserables – as well as some pop and swing classics.
Group spokesperson Brad Villiers said: "We've all been in plenty of productions together over the years and every year we say we should put a show on and finally we are doing it.
"We're so lucky to have assembled an impressive cast of local performers that are favourites with audiences in Central Queensland."
Anyone who wants to see the show will find that tickets are priced at $35 for adults, with discounts available for concessions. It will be performed for one night only on June 29.
