Five commercial properties snapped up in just two weeks

By David Bell
ROCKHAMPTON’S commercial property leasing market has seen a boom in recent months, with five properties leased in the past two weeks.
Four of those properties were located in Rockhampton’s CBD, with one in Berserker.
The commercial market is experiencing an uptick with a couple more commercial properties leased to local businesses who are expanding into bigger premises. Additionally in the Rockhampton market, businesses are expanding as more people moving into town.
Rockhampton has gone through a very tough property market for the past 12 years and that can’t go on forever.
There is a fair bit happening with professional offices and small shops, but the warehouses have been the surprising one. Arguably the approval of the Adani Carmichael Coal Mine has added to this boost of confidence.
Predictions for 2020 are positive with continued market movement expected in February.
