Real estate in Rockhampton appears to be in good hands, after a report found that Ray White Rockhampton is one of the top property sellers in the country.
The Rockhampton office was ranked 15th out of all agencies in the country – with 310 properties sold through seven agents in the last financial year, industry publication Real Estate Business found.
Sales for the Central Queensland district were worth $98 million, with a transaction rate of 76 per cent for all the properties that they attempted to sell.
Such a feat is unheard of in most of the Australian marketplace.
Ray White Group chairman Brian White said the Rockhampton office's performance – in conjunction with the top-ranking Rockingham and Glen Waverley agencies – was a great accomplishment.
"It's a remarkable industry coup," he said.
